Self-Rotating Yagi Antenna

Motorized directional antenna for amateur radio.

Embedded SystemsArduinoHam radio

A motorized Yagi antenna to simplify directional communication.

The system uses an Arduino and stepper motors to rotate the antenna through a joystick-controlled interface, allowing operators to adjust its direction remotely.

The project combines embedded programming, electronics, mechanical design, and radio communication concepts into a single working system.

As amateur radio operators, we built this antenna to simplify directional communication. We also took part in TUES Fest, showcasing it to people in the field and interested spectators.
